designed the stairs and platforms. I
designed them to interlock into
different configurations and varying
lengths, using compatible parts. All
platform assemblies used the same
inter-connecting pieces that can now be
ordered through a data base.

drill head assemblies.
These rotating
assemblies
would have three rotating bits
with different types of teeth in each bit. As these bits go
into the ground the drill head assembly
spreads open. It was my task to see to
it that these various bits and teeth
would fit in any given drill head
assembly under the direction of the
project engineer. These drawings and 3d
drawings were made using Auto CAD 14

My first drafting job
Avanti Motors Youngstown, Ohio
While still attending
ITT. I was selected to be the first and
only candidate to
Work at Avanti Motors.
Avanti hand makes the bodies and fit
them to the chassis that are exclusive
to Avanti Motors. My job was to draw
parts that were to be welded or machined
or carved. I would also make drawings of
what was taking place at a given point
on the assembly line. My last day there
saw the assembly line closed down as the
Company had been sold.
Most exciting job ever!
